Master's program in Omics Data Analysis (60 ECTS) 1rst Edition starting February 25th, 2013

The University of Vic is launching a new official master's degree in translational bioinformatics.
1rst Edition starting in February 2013 and 2nd Edition starting in October 2013.
The master is focused on the study of omics data (genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and interactomics). Students will learn about the most important techniques for omic data acquisition and they will be able to analyze voluminous and diverse molecular data by using appropriate statistical and bioinformatics tools.
The master provides a professional profile highly demanded by pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. With applications in biomedicine and other important fields like food technology and animal sciences, it can also be the starting point for a research career. It gives access to PhD studies.

Classes: Afternoon classes (3pm to 8pm) from Monday to Thursday (in-person or livestreaming classes)

Pre-enrollment deadline: February 25th, 2013

Partial enrollment to some of the courses is also permitted.
